Penrhiw Farm November 15th

Penrhiw cows have come in and are enjoying the warm dry sheds deeply bedded with clean straw and lovely sweet smelling silage made during the summer.  Fforest cows are still out but not for much longer - some last minute yard work meant fresh concrete has to harden for a few more days yet.  Some new calves at Penrhiw - only one cow left to calf in 2017.  This cow is called "Bendy Bus"  - I have obviously spent too much time in Riverside watching the Cardiff buses negotiate tight corners and narrow spaces !!  This cow can wiggle her way through the slightest gap - woe betide the one who leaves a gate only very slightly ajar !!  I will try and catch her in action in a Facebook photo!
