The market is changing to a weekly Collection Market
There are 5 Saturdays in May which means a gap of three weeks from the last event (May 16th) to the next (June 6th). The nature of the market has changed from a semi-social event to what is, in essence, a food supply event. The original market days of the first and third Saturdays are not compatible with this new role for the current pandemic. In order to supply the town and surrounding communities the market collections will be rescheduled to take place each Saturday 9.00 am - 10.30. Some of the producers have organised their production schedules based on the original market dates and will continue to follow the same pattern. A list of the upcoming collection dates can be found at this link.which shows which producers are taking orders for the particular dates.
