This is a new idea inspired from a collaboration between the Market and Christine Birch, of Green Flute. Christine joined the rota, running the market tea room, when Sandra retired and has since taken over the management of the tea rooms attached to the Usk Rural Life Museum.
The museum has recently completed a very attractive oak framed extension in the car park at the top end of the town. Christine will be purchasing ingredients form the market to use in a special Farmers' Market Menu. Our aim is for more people to discover the amazing range of produce that is on offer at the market as well as giving visitors a pleasant option of lunch, with Christine, after visiting the market.

"It's Usk Farmer's Market this weekend and in partnership with some of the stall holders there, our ploughman's lunch will be made up of their produce. We would like to thank Ty Mawr Vegetables, Welsh Farmhouse Apple Juice, Wye Valley Cheese and Crucorney Energy Group for working with us on this. So why not pop along to the market and then pop into the café to sample!"
