Hello Just a quick update on our market whereabouts and farm news. Rhiwbina on Friday, Usk on Sat and Riverside on Sunday with the usual range of fresh organic meat.
It has been a busy summer on the farms with, what seems like, a never ending list of jobs to do. Thankfully harvest will be over at Penrhiw by the weekend - the very last field of haylage will be baled and wrapped on Sat. However, at Cefn Coed / Fforest, things will get even busier. The grass harvest is done and dusted but the corn harvest is about to begin. The combine is having a MOT and the grain store a Big clean.
Ffi and I are hoping we will be able to squeeze in some horsey time - horses have had a lazy summer so far......
