Barbara Warren has attended the market from it's earliest days but has decided the market is no longer suitable for her. She has had some problems with the supply of her very special Tamworth Pork and is currently not able to maintain a supply to the market. Celia Thomas will be extending her space at the market and now offers a complete range of organic produce :Beef, lamb, teg, mutton, pork, sausages, pies and faggots,eggs and I am sure more to follow. We shall be monitoring the situation for the time being to see how this will work.
Last weekend saw the first delivery of vegetable boxes to the Green Flute Tea Rooms at the Rural Life Museum. The idea is to extend the supply of fresh vegetables to the town which together with the market will provide Usk with a weekly supply.
